Cotton Tale provides after school childcare for 8 school-aged children from 2:30-5:00pm, Monday - Friday on regular school days. Children are picked up at New Minas Elementary School, walked to the cafe and the program is led by one of our qualified and dedicated staff members.
We strive to create a safe home-like environment for your children, which includes healthy snacks prepared by our staff. Children will have the opportunity for outdoor play at the NMES playground and outdoor classroom, weather permitting. Indoor play will be child-led, with choices including our indoor play structure and toys, LEGO table, access to the afterschool room which is fully equiped with drawing, colouring and craft supplies, board games, Playmobile toys and Lego sets to make , or a quiet space on one of our sofas for those children who need some down time after a busy day.
Cost is $15 per day. We do not provide care on in-service days, 1/2 days or snow days. There is a possibility of care on those days, but it will be on a case by case basis.
